Privacy Policy

The short version

VehicleTrax does not collect your data. There is no VehicleTrax account, no sign-up, no analytics SDK, no advertising, and no server that receives your records. Everything you enter stays on your devices and, if you enable it, in your own private iCloud account.

What VehicleTrax stores, and where

The vehicles, maintenance logs, fuel entries, trips, parts, photos, projects, expenses and checklists you create are stored locally on your device. If iCloud sync is enabled, that same data is stored in your personal iCloud account so it stays current across your iPhone, iPad and Mac.

Data held in iCloud is governed by Apple's iCloud terms and your Apple Account settings. The developer of VehicleTrax has no access to your iCloud container and cannot read, export or recover your records.

What is not collected

• No name, email address or account credentials
• No location or GPS tracking
• No device identifiers used for tracking or advertising
• No usage analytics, crash telemetry or behavioral profiling
• No data sold, shared or transferred to third parties

Purchases

VehicleTrax is sold through the App Store, and any in-app purchase is processed entirely by Apple. Payment details never pass through the app and are never visible to the developer. Apple provides only an anonymous receipt confirming that a purchase is valid, which the app uses to unlock features on your devices.

Photos and attachments

If you attach a photo to a maintenance record or upgrade, VehicleTrax asks your permission to access the photo you select. That image is stored with your record and is never uploaded anywhere outside your own device and iCloud account.

Reports you export

PDF reports are generated on your device. Where an exported report goes after that — email, Files, AirDrop, a printer — is entirely your choice, and the developer receives no copy.

Children

VehicleTrax is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of VehicleTrax changes how data is handled, this page will be updated before that version ships, and the date at the top will change with it.
